Truly one of the best Jain temples in Rajasthan, Nasian Jain temple is a major Digambar Jain holy place in Ajmer. Also known as the nuns of Soni, this temple claims an amazing elegant feeling in its architecture. This temple is a man-made gem, a classic example of the traditional Jain style architecture, which is a real treat for the eyes of devotees and tourists. Dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankar of Jainism, this temple is made of red sandstone. Stones and precious metals have also been used extensively. History:
The construction of the temple was an attempt by the rich Jain traders, who wanted to build an architectural miracle in Jain temples. Beginning in 1864, the construction took 31 years to complete. In 1895, the Jain temple was opened to the general public.

Popular for its structure, the temple is the gateway to a huge red sandstone, which is similar to the Mughal architecture. While the exterior is simple, there are exact opposite contexts – all decorated with gems and precious metals. Due to the diverse nature of the objectives, the main structure is divided into 2 regions. The first area where there is a place of worship with the idol of Lord Adinath, the other is a museum, in which there are wonderful things related to Jainism and its teachings. There is also a huge hall called Golden City, which is embellished with gold and other metals. It includes gold-plated wooden items, which include silver, gold as well as gems. The roof of the inner chamber of the temple is embellished with silver balls. Paintings of mineral paintings and stained glass halls of Belgium make the hallmark spectacular.
