Located at a distance of 15 km from Pink City of India, Jaipur, the splendid royal construction, Jaigad fort attracts the attention of travelers with its unique perspective. Especially the carving made on the walls creates it as an architectural wonder along with rainwater harvesting system. This striking construction is located at the top of the Aravali ranges with many interesting features.
It is known mostly as the Fort of Vijay, this special fort has been built to store weapons and other military utilities. During the reign of Rajputs and Mughals, the desert kingdom was a major center of artillery production. Right now every traveler can see a used weapon and other war utilities which have been preserved and displayed in the Fort Museum.
The royal structure reflects the medieval building style and is filled with various wonderful great interior environments. The huge and stunning building was built during the period of Jai Singh LOD between the 15th and 18th centuries. It was once a fort, which is responsible for the security of both Jaipur and Aamer rivals. Apart from this, there are campuses for the collection of huge weapons, cannons and other weapons along with places like an assembly of warriors in the majestic fort.
Giant Canon Jayavan is the main attraction of the fort with its extraordinary military architecture and other attractions. Being a military camp, this fort has an arsenal which presents the swords, and other essential things that are used mostly in wars. The museum displays the puppets, artifacts, photographs and war utilities of Rajput rulers.
