Haldighati is an important historical place in the context of Rajasthan, India. In fact, Haldighati is a hilly pass in the Aravali range connecting Rajsamand and Pali in Rajasthan. This place is a comfortable distance of 40 kilometers from the city of Udaipur. The word Haldighati is derived from the yellowish soil of the place which gives the feeling of turmeric (in Hindi, turmeric is called ‘turmeric’ and the valley is known as ‘Ghati’).

Haldighati is an important historical place, which has seen the battle of 1576. Battle of Haldighati was a big fight between Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar and King Man Singh of Amber. Haldighati extends as a thrilling tourist attraction that flows the battlefield of unkind warfare. Those courageous soldiers were thought of, where they fought, barking under a perfect spinal cord. In the words of Colonel James Tod (a British author), Haldighati has been referred to as ‘Thermopyl of Mewar’.
Close to this place, you can go to the village of Bali, which is famous for its terracotta craft. Badshahi Bagh is another place which is famous for ‘Chaitri-Gulab’. Here you can find original rose water and ‘Gulkand’ (jam made from rose petals), which has medicinal value and actually taste good.
