Baradari Ajmer

The marble pavilion, locally known as Baradari, was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1637 on a large embankment of Anasagar Barrage. There are five pavilions and a hammam (royal bath). The third pavilion is built on the lines of the largest and red fort, Delhi on the lines of Diwan-i-Khas. The ground beneath the famous embankment under the name of Daulat Bagh was built in 1628 by Jahangir, who built the Shahi Sukh Bagh of the Mughal emperors. The British commissioner used them as their office and temporary residence, well-preserved monuments. Ajmer is the main gate to discover Rajasthan
